Item Record Display

If available, you can change the way an item's record information displays by clicking Change Display from the Details view of an item. When you click Change Display, you may be given the following options to change the display of the item information.

• In the Library box, select to display information from a specific library or all libraries in a system.
• In the View of Records box, select to view the full or brief catalog record for the item.
• In the Orders box, select to view orders placed for the item, if available.
• In the Unformatted Display box, select Yes to view information in non-MARC format or No to view information in MARC format.
• In the Specific Volume Number box, select to view volume information, if available.
• In the Shadow box, select to view items in the catalog, the shadow catalog, or both. This option may not be available for all systems.
• In the Order of Call Numbers box select to view call numbers in ascending or descending order, if available.
• In the Holdings box, select to view the holdings for the item, if available.
